Jammu migrants today threatened to march to the national capital and hold a sit-in in front of the Prime Minister's residence if not paid relief at par with Kashmiri migrants.

"Hundreds of Jammu migrants, mostly camping in Talwara belt of Reasi district shall hold a protest march from Jammu to Delhi if not paid relief at par with Kashmiri migrants", Prof Bhim Singh, the chief patron of Jammu (Talwara) Migrants Action Committee told reporters here today.

He demanded payment of all their arrears (about 54 crores) in accordance with the judgement of the Supreme Court of India dated July 13, 2006.

The protest march will start if the Jammu migrants are not provided with all their dues by December 15, he said.

"They shall hold fast unto death in front of Prime Minister Modi's residence," he added.

Singh, also a patron of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP), accused the Congress, PDP and BJP leadership of playing foul with the migrants of Jammu.

He alleged that the Jammu migrants had been discriminated by the ruling parties.
