Due to technical snag recently, there was problem in supply of power for 3-4 days, Chief Engineer Shanaz Goni informed Rural Development and Parliamentary Affairs minister Ali Mohammad Sagar during a review meeting here.
He informed the minister that in metered areas, the power curtailment is of three hours and in unmetered areas it is of eight hours.
The Minister laid emphasis on maintaining regular power supply especially in the summer season.
He directed the PDD department to keep a close check on power theft which results in power breakdowns.
