Janelle Monae wore a rainbow-coloured ruffled dress to this year's BET Awards to celebrate the ongoing Pride Month.
The singer, who came out as pansexual in April this year, turned heads in the eye-catching outfit that featured a dark green bustier-style top and the rainbow-hued skirt.
She completed the look with a black hat, jewellery and a vibrant clutch.
Monae, 32, has been a vocal champion of the LGBTQ community.
Her choice of the tiered dress designed by Nicolas Jebran is the latest in a long line of quirky red carpet ensembles, including tuxedos and jumpsuits.
Besides her dress, Monae also shone at the award ceremony with her performance on her song "Django Jane" from her latest album 'Dirty Computer'.
The BET Awards also saw a variety of hits and misses on the red carpet, with 14-year-old Storm Reid, "A Wrinkle in Time" star, being praised by fashion critics for her starry Reem Acra gown.
