Japanese firm Takasago acquires 26% stake in Iclean

Japanese company Takasago Thermal Engineering (TTE) has acquired 26 per cent stake in city-based Iclean for an undisclosed sum.

Iclean (Integrated Clean room Technologies Pvt. Ltd), a clean room engineering company established in 2002, manufactures clean room interiors to cater to pharma, biotech, defence and research units for their production facilities.

"By partnering with TTE, Iclean can meet its short term and long term growth objectives through strong technology backing, market access and financial support.

"TTE, a technology partner with great research and development initiatives and patented products, can deliver energy efficiency facilities," Iclean Managing Director K Gopi was quoted as saying in a statement.
 

TTE is a leading Japanese engineering company with annual turnover of 243 billion Yen, it added.
