"Transporter" star Jason Statham says he is happy being recognised as a gay icon.
Statham, 46, who is set to play a gay in an upcoming project titled 'Hummingbird', said he was amazed when informed about his homosexual fan following, reported Daily Star.
"I really didn't know. I am very happy to have any fans of any kind, anywhere," he said.
The action star is currently dating supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
