Jaspal Rana becomes chairman of Delhi State Rifle Association

Renowned shooter Jaspal Rana has been elected unopposed chairman of Delhi State Rifle Association.

Earlier, he was the officiating chairman of DSRA.

In the DSRA elections held on Sunday, Shakun Bhugra won the election for the vice chairman's post with 117 votes against Nawabuddin, who got 45.

Farid Ali won the election for joint secretary's post with 85 votes, even as Ajit gave him a tough fight with 75 votes.

Former coach of the Indian shooting team, Syed Wajid Ali's daughter Samreen, was elected as governing body member.

The governing body also included Achal Sehgal, Falak sher Alam, Ishwinderjit Singh and Anupam Kamal.
