Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is likely to visit Rohtak, the epicentre of Jats stir for quota, to take stock of the situation in the town, official sources said today.
Khattar along with some of his senior Ministers and top officials is closely monitoring the situation, the sources added.
Khattar, who became the first non-Jat Chief Minister in Haryana after 18 years in 2014, has appealed to the people to maintain law and order in the state.

Notably, Khattar's native village Nindana falls in Rohtak district.
The Jats have been agitating to press for reservation under OBC quota.
