Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar today held a video-conference with Rajasthan's Education Minister Vasudev Devnani to discuss and review works done by the state government in the education sector.
Devnani told the Union minister that various initiatives have been taken by the government to improve the quality of education in the state, a release issued here said.
He said the school syllabus from class 1 to 9 and 11 has been revised and contents of national unity, integrity, nationalism and harmony have been incorporated, it said.
He informed that the government has set up Swami Vivekananda government model schools in Panchayt Samities which are lagging behind in the education sector, it added.
