Oscar winner Javier Bardem revealed he has discussed playing Frankenstein with Universal Pictures in their monster universe reboot.
Last year, it was widely reported that the film company had tapped Bardem to portray Frankenstein in the studio's burgeoning monster universe. However, neither of them had officially announced if it was really happening, reported Screen Rant.
When asked about the same, the 48-year-old star confirmed to Cinema Blend that talks concerning him playing the popular fictional character are indeed happening.
"Yeah, well, there are talks. And I would love to be part of it. Because it's an iconic... Speaking of an iconic character! I have the size of the head. That's for sure. They're not going to waste a lot of money in makeup, that's for sure," he said.
The actor is currently promoting "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales," in which, he plays the villain, Captain Armando Salazar.
