The hearing into the Jawahar Bagh violence case has been adjourned till May 9 by a court here on the request of the CBI.
District judge Ramesh Tewari today adjourned the case on the request of the second investigating officer of the CBI and district government counsel Gordhan Singh Yadav.
"Our main investigating officer would present the argument on some other date set by the court," the second investigating officer said.

The petitioner's counsel, L K Gautam, had said they would approach the higher court against the bail conditions of submission of Rs 5 lakh cash as personal surety and two local sureties of the same amount imposed by Chief Judicial Magistrate Alpana Shukla in her April 19 order.
