The Karnataka cabinet today did not discuss the issue of filing an appeal in the Supreme Court against the acquittal of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in the disproportionate assets case.
"The Jayalalithaa issue did not come for discussion because I needed some clarifications on the reports submitted by the Advocate General, the Law Department and the Special Public Prosecutor," Law Minister Jayachandra told reporters here.
He said the Advocate General was not in town for giving clarification.
