AIADMK here has called for a 12 hour bandh in all four regions of Puducherry -- Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam tomorrow in protest against the 'false case' imposed on party leader Jayalalithaa, who has been convicted in an illegal assets case.
A Ravindran, Uppalam town secretary of AIADMK told reporters here that the bandh would commence from 6 a.m tomorrow in protest against the 'false case' imposed on Jayalalithaa and her 'wrongful imprisonment'.
Four of the five AIADMK legislators, barring legislature party leader P Puroshothaman were present at the press meet.

Asked about the absence of Puroshothaman, Ravindran said he was away in Karaikal, participating in a fast by party workers in protest against the conviction of their leader.
On September 27, a special court in Bangalore had sentenced Jayalalithaa to four years in prision and slapped a Rs 100 crore fine on her in the Rs 66.65 crore disproportionate assets case.
