The Special Court trying the disproportionate assets case against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today adjourned the matter to March 4 for further recording of evidence of defence witnesses.
Special Court judge M S Balakrishna adjourned the matter after evidence of 12 such witnesses were recorded today.
The cross-examination of defence witnesses will be conducted from March 6-8, the court stated.

Jayalalithaa has been charged with amassing wealth to the tune of Rs 66 crore disproportionate to her known sources of income when she was the Chief Minister between 1991 and 1995 and the case had been transferred to the court here by the Supreme Court.
