Jaya to present gold medals to 13 police personnel

: As part of honouring their service and for investigations, Tamil Nadu government has selected 13 persons for the present of the award of Chief Minister's Police Medal this year.

The recipients would receive a grant of Rs 5,000 and an eight gram gold medal from Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa", an official release said.

The list of the winners for "Chief Minister's Police Medal for Excellence in Investigation" include -- SP CID, DSP, K Palanisamy, Theni District, Bodi Taluk Police Station, Inspector A Philip Franklin Kennedy, CBCID Inspector, A Murali, Poonamallee Law and Order, Inspector, K Chandrasekaran, Manachanallur Police Station, Inspector, A Natesan.
 

Thanjavur All Women Police station, Inspector V Chandra, Krishnagiri district, Prohibition Enforcement wing, Inspector, T Kannan, Coimbatore district Peelamedu Crime Police Station, Inspector, R Venkataraman, Cuddalore district, Annamalai Nagar Police Station, Inspector P Muruganandam, Ariyalur, CB CID, Inspector, B Manivel.

For the "Chief Minister's Police Medal for Excellence in Public Service", three persons were shortlisted including "Q" branch CID, Dindigul district, Inspector T Prabhakaran, Special Division CID, Headquarters, Inspector, M Damodaran, Sivagangai district, Palayanoor Police Station, Grade I Police Constable R Senthilkumar.
