The incident took place this morning when JCO Daiju A of 40 Rashtriya Rifles suffered a cardiac arrest during duty in Mandi border belt of the district, the officials said.
Later, he was rushed to Military hospital where he was declared brought dead by doctors, they said.
Further probes are on, they added.
