Joint Commissioner of Police, Gurgaon, Saurabh Singh has been given the additional charge of DIG in the inquiry commission which will be probing grant of license to some entities, including Robert Vadra's firm, for developing commercial colonies.
Singh has been given the additional charge today in the one-man commission headed by retired judge of Delhi High Court, Justice S N Dhingra, an official release said here.
Haryana government had formed the commission on May 14 which would function from Gurgaon. It is to submit its report within six months.

It will give findings and recommendations, particularly relating to the allegations of criminal conspiracy, criminal misconduct and private enrichment, if any, and the role of public servants and private individuals, an official spokesperson said here recently.
During the last Assembly polls, BJP had made land deals under the previous Congress regime in Haryana a major issue, alleging that the rules were relaxed to favour a few including Vadra, son-in-law of Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
