The Janata Dal (United) has appointed Raj Singh Mann as the party's secretary, the JD(U) today said.
JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar has made two appointments, the party said in a statement.
"Raj Singh Mann has been made the party's secretary while Narsingh Shah the president of the JD(U) Delhi unit," it said.

Besides, Mann has been given the responsibility of the party orgnisation in Haryana, it added.
The appointments comes a month after the civic polls in Delhi, in which JD(U), fighting on Purvanchali plank, faced a humiliating defeat.
