Apparently drawing solace from the fact that BJP did not secure majority to form a government on its own in Maharashtra, JD(U) today claimed that the saffron party will not win Bihar Assembly polls next year.
"BJP has failed to get the majority to form the government on its own in Maharashtra," senior JD(U) leader and Road Construction Department (RCD) minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh said.
"I am confident that BJP will suffer a setback in Bihar Assembly polls next year," he said.
In a dig at the former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Singh said he will never be accepted as the chief minister of Bihar by the electorate.
