Janata Dal(U) suspended an MLA from Bihar who has been critical of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and met BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi today.
JD(U) president Sharad Yadav took the decision to suspend MLA Chhedi Paswan, the party's spokesperson K C Tyagi said.
Paswan, who represents Mohania constituency in Kaimur district of Bihar, has been critical of Kumar since long.
He reportedly offered to join BJP in his meeting with Modi.
