Two persons, including a Junior Engineer in MES department, were found dead in separate places in Jammu and Reasi districts of Jammu and Kashmir today, police said.
Daljeet Singh, hailing from Kanchan city in Ludhiana, Punjab, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a room at Sant Hotel in the city, police said.
Singh was posted in Akhnoor belt of Jammu as a Junior Engineer in Military Engineer Services department, they said, adding that the body was recovered and sent to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital for postmortem.
In another incident, 32-year-old Mohammad Hanif was found dead at his residence in Sarla in Reasi district.
The body was recovered and after postmortem, handed over to family members for last rites, they said.
Police has started investigations into both the cases, they said.
