A jeep carrying a large amount of explosives including 400 dynamite rods and 50 kg of gelatine was seized by the police today along with its driver during a search operation on Khandwa road, a police official said.
Documents related to the explosives recovered from the jeep disclosed that a vehicle with a different registration number was supposed to transport it.
However, since the explosives and documents were found in a jeep with a different registration number, it led to suspicion, Khargone District's Superintendent of Police (SP) Amit Singh told reporters.
