A jeep carrying about 25
persons fell into the river Narmada at Rajghat bridge near here tonight, police said.
While nine of them swam to safety, the fate of others was not known, they said.
The victims were returning to Pati in Barwani district from Walpur in Alirajpur district after taking part in the pre-holi festival.
