Jeera prices firmed up by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale kirana market today on increased buying by stockists amid pick-up in demand from retailers.
Marketmen said increased buying by stockists on the back of a rise in demand from retailers mainly led to the rise in jeera prices.
In the national capital, jeera common and best quality were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 13,700-14,200 and Rs 16,900-17,400 per quintal, respectively.
