Jeev, Order of Merit champion, recently missed the Omega European Masters in Switzerland, an event sanctioned by the Asian Tour and European Tour, due to a finger injury.

Jeev injured his trigger finger on the right hand but a short break has prepared him for a title assault in the Land of the Rising Sun where he has won four titles.

The two-time Asian champion enjoyed emphatic victories in Scotland and Wales respectively and is all set to add another feather in his cap at the Higashi Hirono Golf Club from September 20-23.

"The most important thing is that when a player is injury free, you can work harder. It gives you more confidence. That's the reason why I won (in Scotland)," said Jeev, who featured in all four rounds in the British Open in July.
