"Wonder Woman" director Patty Jenkins has said that she hopes the success of the Gal Gadot- starrer will allow women to have access to "diverse" job prospects in future.
The 46-year-old filmmaker said when the DC film surpassed USD 100 million at the domestic box office in its first week, it challenged records created by previous blockbusters, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"I hope the success of the film will lead to change and lead to other people getting opportunities. I hope women become a diverse, easy hire for all sorts of jobs in the future. It sort of defied expectations (at the box office)," Jenkins told the reporters.
