Actress Jennifer Garner is in talks to star in Disney's adaptation of children's book, 'Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day'.
Garner is in negotiations with the movie studio to star alongside Steve Carrell in the adaptation of popular children's book, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The storybook, which was written by Judith Viorst, is about a boy who has a bad day and discovers that other people can have them too.

Garner would play Alexander's mother, while Carrell has already signed on to star as the boy's father.
The family movie's script was written by Lisa Cholodenko and Rob Leiber, and Miguel Arteta is set to direct. Shawn Levy and Dan Levine are producing through their production company, 21 Laps.
Garner will next star alongside Matthew McConaughey in 'Dallas Buyers' Club', in which the latter plays an AIDS victim.
