Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson and singer Rita Ora will be seen on hit drama 'Empire' before the first season ends.
The two music stars are tapped as guest stars on the new series, which centres around a hip hop music and entertainment company, Empire Enterprises. Their roles have not been revealed yet, reported E! Online.
Hudson, 33, has appeared in movies like 'Dreamgirls', which earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, 'The Secret Life of Bees' and 'Winnie Mandela', among others. She previously guest starred in several episodes of NBC's musical drama 'Smash'.

Ora, 24, has made guest appearances in films like 'Spivs' and 'Fast & Furious 6' and will make her full-fledged acting debut in upcoming movie 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.
Rapper Iggy Azalea was also reportedly offered a guest spot on the FOX show, but scheduling issue prevented her to take the gig. The network has not commented on the casting rumours.
'Empire', which premiered on January 7, has been renewed for a second season by the network.
