Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez has made an exit from "The 33" as she is facing a scheduling problem after returning to 'American Idol'.
The 44-year-old singer was earlier to shoot for the film, which is about the struggle for survival of 33 miners trapped far below the earth in Chile, in 2010, reported Deadline.
Hollywood star Antonio Banderas and actor Martin Sheen are said to star in the movie which will be directed by Patricia Riggen.

Mike Medavoy, Robert Katz and Edward McGurn will serve as the producer of the film while Carlos Eugenio Lavin and Leopoldo Enriquez are set to be the executive producers.
"These 33 men went into that mine every day for the sake of their families, and they almost lost their lives because of it," Medavoy said.
"The irony of the movie is that, except for the fame the disaster brought them, they haven't been rightfully compensated for their struggle," he added.
The production of the film begins from November 25 in South America.
