"Jeremiah" bags the Vijay Textiles Deccan Derby

Favourite three-year-old "Jeremiah" piloted by S Zervan, lifted the Vijay Textiles Deccan Derby (Grade-I), the main event on the 22nd day of Hyderabad Monsoon meeting at the Malakpet Racecourse held here today.

The winner is owned by Mr Haresh N.Mehta and Mr Manav H.Mehta represents Rohan Bloodstock Private Limited and well trained by Shroff.

Favourite five-year-old "Vijay Conquer" (Jockey up AM Tograllu) trained by Laxman S, bagged the Turf Authorities Cup and was owned by Mr Vijay Kumar Gupta and Mr Susheel Kumar Gupta represent M/s Vijay Racing and Farms Private Limited and Mr Srikanth Reddy Muppidi.

Trainers Laxman S,D Netto and jockies Dasarath S, AM Tograllu scored a double each while four favourites and two are jointly obiliged in a card of ten events.
