Jerry Amaldev to perform at KBF's Arts and Medicine programme

Well known music composer Jerry Amaldev will enthrall patients at the Ernakulam Government General Hospital with Malayalam's most memorable melodies tomorrow as part of the Kochi Biennale Foundation's "Arts and Medicine" project.

Jerry Amaldev and his team of singers and artistes will perform at the premises of the hospital, a release here said.

The choir, comprising 20 artistes, have selected soulful and melodious songs for the patients. Wednesday's musical treat is the eighth in the series of programmes held as part of the Arts and Medicine project launched by Union Minister for Food and Agriculture K V Thomas, on Feb 1.
 

Jerry Amaldev, a three-time Kerala State Award winner, has many hits to his credit including the evergreen songs in his first film "Manjil Virinja Pookkal".

'It is an honour for the KBF to associate with such a renowned figure of the Malayalam music industry', KBF research-coordinator Bonny Thomas said.
