Taking a cue from low-cost airline GoAir, Naresh Goyal-promoted Jet Airways today offered discounted fares to women travellers for three days starting from Saturday, which will be celebrated as International Women's Day globally.
Under the offer, women travellers will get a special 10 per cent discount on base fares for international journey and a similar discount on base fare and fuel surcharge for domestic travel, Jet Airways said in a release here.
The gesture is a part of the International Women's Day celebrations, it said, adding the offer is applicable for both Jet Airways and Jet Konnect flights.
"International Women's Day is heralded as a chance to celebrate past, present and future women. The airline takes pride in participating and honouring women from all walks of life, on this special occasion," Jet Airways Senior Vice President (commercial) Gaurang Shetty said.
