A jeweller was killed and his son injured when some unidentified persons opened fire at them during an alleged loot attempt in Sadarpur area, police sources said here.
Ramlal (52) was shot dead and his son Shubham (20) was injured when miscreants opened fire at them near Gudaincha crossing when they were returning home after closing their shop last night, they said.
Shubham was rushed to a community health centre, where his condition is stated to be serious.
