Heat wave conditions continued to prevail in Uttar Pradesh with Jhansi recording maximum temperature of 44.7 degrees Celsius today.
The day temperature rose appreciably in Faizabad, Gorakhpur divisions and changed little in the remaining parts of the state, Met department said.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 44.7 degrees Celsius in Jhansi.
The MeT warned that dust storm or thunderstorm accompanied with squall may hit isolated places over western UP on June 6.
