Jharkhand Assembly today condoled the death of veteran cine actors A Nageshwar Rao and Suchitra Sen and the state's former deputy Chief Minister Sudhir Kumar Mahato.
In his condolence message, Speaker Shashank Sekhar Bhokta spoke about the immense contribution made by the great actors.
The house condoled the death of former union minister Sisram Ola, former Ranchi MP P K Ghosh, four persons who drowned following a boat mishap in Ranchi Lake recently and some other notable persons who passed away recently.
After the members paid tributes to the departed persons, the House was adjourned till tomorrow.
The annual financial statement will be tabled on February 21.
