JMM legislator Lobin Hembram, who has been adjudged the best legislator of the Jharkhand Assembly this year, today donated the cash award to a visually challenged, orphan girl.
Governor Syed Ahmed gave away the cash award of Rs 51,000 to the 58-year-old Hembram on the foundation day of the Assembly.
Hembram said that he was donating his award to the girl, whom he had adopted recently after she lost her parents.
