Jharkhand Assembly will felicitate several personalities, including Padma Shri awardees, sports persons and students who topped in their respective examinations on its 17th Foundation Day tomorrow.
Jharkhand Movement leader Lal Ranavijaya Nath Shahdeo, Padma Shri Mukund Nayak and Padma Shri Balbir Dutt will be felicitated tomorrow, Speaker Dinesh Oraon announced at a press conference here.
Archers Laxmi Rani, Simil Birupi, Mangal Singh Champia and Rina Kumari, hockey players Sylvanas Dungdung , Manohar Topno, Sumrai Tete, Asunta Lakra, Vigan Soy and Nikki Pradhan, footballer Subodh Kumar, diyang National archer Gosner Patras Odeya and seven athletes will also be felicitated, he said.
Toppers of Class X and XII and a total 35 Tana Bhagats (followers of Mahatma Gandhi) are others in the list of felicitation, Oraon added.
