Jharkhand Assembly will soon have its own building with Chief Minister Hemant Soren today announcing that foundation stone for the structure would be laid in December.
"Foundation stone for a new building for the House will be laid next month. The structure will be completed at the earliest," Soren said here in the presence of Speaker Shashank Sekhar Bhokta, ex-speaker C P Singh and several other dignitaries.
Soren was addressing a function to mark the assembly's foundation day today in the premises of the existing building taken from the Heavy Engineering Corporation on this day 13 years ago after Jharkhand was created on November 15, 2000.
