Jharkhand CM calls on PM

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and apprised him about the developmental works in the state.

The prime minister congratulated the people of the state on the eve of Raghubar Das government completing thousand days, an official release said.

Jharkhand is fully committed to realise the prime ministers dream of New India, Das told the prime minster.

The chief minister said only in thousand days Jharkhands growth rate is 8.6 per cent and second after Gujarat in the country.

Das gave details about government programmes like cleanliness drive, Garib Kalyan Mela, Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar.
 

During the period foundation stone or inauguration worth eight thousand five hundred crore rupees were made while more than Rs 500 crore property distributed among nearly one lakh people.

The chief minister also presented a book published by the state government to the prime minister, the release said.
