Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and submitted a report of his government's five-and-a-half months of work to him, officials said here.
Das, the first non-tribal Chief Minister to rule the state, met Modi at the latter's office at South Block for about half-an-hour.
The Prime Minister would visit Hazaribagh district on June 28 for laying of foundation station for an agriculture research institute, the officials said.
Das took the reins of Jharkhand on December 28 after the BJP/Ajsu Party alliance mustered a majority for the first time after the state's creation on November 15, 2000.
