Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today issued directions to make tribal youths skilled and giving them employment in the 13 scheduled districts of the state.

Reviewing welfare department schemes, he asked officials to give cows to poor tribal women and purchase milk from them for state owned 'Medha Dairy', which would help raise their standard of living.

Das also asked officials to raise the standard of living of 2000 extremely poor families of Dumka and West Singhbhum districts, according to an official release.

Das said that NGOs working well should be encouraged and those not working should be blacklisted.

He also ordered probe into allegations that some ineligible people had taken scholarship benefits for B.Ed and Dental colleges.
