Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today ordered suspension of two engineers following disruption in power supply in the city.
Das asked to place Executive Engineer Arun Kumar (Transmission) and assistant engineer Gaurav Kumar (Transmission) under suspension with immediate effect after two 50 MVA transformers burnt up, an official release said.
He asked the electricity board to take up repair work on war footing to ensure uninterrupted electricity in Ranchi.

Summoning Energy department secretary S K J Rahate and other officials, Das said, burning up of two transformers simultaneously was a serious matter.
He warned stringent action against those found guilty for any attempt to deliberately disrupt power supply, the release said.
