Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today walked through the lanes of Baridih market here in an attempt to motivate people about the ongoing Swach Bharat mission.
According to CM's camp office sources here, Das got down from his vehicle and walked through the lanes of Baridih market.
The CM with folded hands appealed to shopkeepers to keep the surroundings clear and encroachment-free for convenience of people.
This happened while he was returning after inaugurating a beautification program near Birsanagar Sunday Market.
Responding to the CM's appeal, the shopkeepers assured that they would neither encroach nor allow anyone to encroach the lanes.
