Jharkhand CS reviews road construction pace in rural areas

Chief Secretary of Jharkhand, Raj Bala Verma, who is reviewing road construction work in rural areas, today said Contractors/agencies showing slackness in road construction work should be identified and reported to the department.

According to an official press released in Ranchi today, The CS said that all road construction works by NPCC should be expedited and all processes related with construction should be completed before November 20.

Verma observed progress of work is very slow in many districts and in some districts the construction work has not been initiated.

NPCC has been allotted 924 roads in phase 7-12 - covering 3455.67 km construction out of which 367 roads covering approximately 1500.19 km has been laid, the release added.
