Jharkhand government today decided to constitute State Development Council (SDC) comprising legislators, senior administrative officials, stake holders, specialists of sectors concerned, for comprehensive development of the state.
An official release quoting Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the SDC would be entrusted with preparing plans, keeping in view optimum utilisation of available resources and better employment of human resource, besides being responsible in monitoring implementation.
It would also give its advisory opinion on issues relating to socio-economic development, suggest ways and means for increasing capital investment in different economic sectors together with creating new avenues of employment, the release said.
