Before hearing her petition, Justice Vipin Sanghi summoned her elder brother, who is staying here, to know how she has been staying alone in the city since May, 2011, against the wish of her parents and posted the matter for hearing on June 18.
The court passed the order after the girl, hailing from Ramgarh district, told it that she has been staying as a Paying Guest in Mukherjee Nagar and preparing for banking examinations.
Appearing for the girl, counsel K K Manan submitted his client wanted to study further after she had completed class-XII but her parents pressurised her to get married at the instance of some relatives. (more)
