Pledging intolerance to corruption, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said his coalition government had been taking action against the corrupt.
"Our government has launched a campaign against corruption. And we have sent a message by taking action against the guilty officials, employees and contractors. Speedy decisions were taken against several pending corruption cases (in government departments)," Soren said.
Addressing a function to mark the 14th foundation day of the state here, Soren said his government believed in action and would not tolerate any laxity by anyone in running a clean and transparent governance with accountability.

"I appeal to the new generation to follow the previous generations who fought for the state and work together to make Jharkhand a progressive state," Soren added.
"This government has completed only four months. And we have honestly worked, bringing transparency in governance and making a corruption-free environment in this short period," Soren, who leads JMM-led UPA government in the state, claimed.
