Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today dismissed Rural Development Minister Chandrasekhar Dubey.
The development came following recent reports that Dubey had levelled corruption charges against Soren but there was no official word on the reason behind the dismissal.
"The chief minister sent the recommendation to Governor Syed Ahmed requesting him to dismiss the minister. The governor gave his approval," an official in the Raj Bhavan said.
