The Jharkhand Passenger Association today urged Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati and Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha to begin flight services in important cities in Jharkhand.
"We welcome the recent statements and assurances by the ministers to begin flight services in important cities in Jharkhand," President Rajendra Kumar Sarawgi and Secretary Prem Kataruka said in a press release here.
Urging the ministers to kick-start flight services in Jamshedpur, Deoghar, Dhanbad and Bokaro, the association requested renovation of existing airports, the release said.
