The Arjun Munda-led government has sent Jharkhand Special Court Ordinance, 2012 to Raj Bhavan for Governor Syed Ahmed's consent, according to an official release here.
The special courts will be headed by sessions or additional sessions-ranked judges to deal with corruption cases against public servants, the release said here.
The move to set up special courts was taken after a lot many corruption cases came before the vigilance department, the release said.
The government's attempt, it added, was to speed up cases relating to corruption and take back any ill-gotten property by any official found guilty by the special courts. PTI PVR AMD
