Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said the momentum of development has taken over as the state celebrated its 17th Foundation Day and called upon all to fulfill Birsa Munda's dream to make a strong and prosperous state.

Addressing the foundation day celebration here, Das called for sowing the seed of love and not hatred and participate in the development process.

He said that the biggest challenge before him was how to avail the opportunity to utilise resources as the state is not poor and there is nothing scarce in Jharkhand, it has capital, talent, hardworking people, natural resources, hardworking farmers, labour force and youth.

"But if there is anything lacking then it is honesty and thought for working in the interest of the state at the first place," he said.

"We have to learn from success and failures in the last sixteen years of state's existence and while introspecting we need to rise above narrow political lines," he said, adding if one tied oneself with opinions then we become confined and limited.
